I wish there were directions on what to do. At least in the description tell us how to do things; Tell us what is and how to recruit players

Is it normal for a tied inning to go to inning 120? Just asking as i thought it was pretty funny.

Is it even a baseball game if you don't have a 77th inning stretch?

guess not my friend, not in that universe at least.

I have gotten every achievement after a couple months. I have gotten every upgrade I've been able to, and yet so many are just too ridiculously out there. I have found out so many quirks, and made so much in-game money. It is very nice, but developing players, especially with hitting, is just a chore after a point, and so is the 1000000 career favor one. Oh well. I'm still here. I don't know what to do now.

Edit: yes I made an account just so I could say this.

Hey.  I'm glad to hear that were able to get so much gameplay.  By all means it sounds like you've done all that there is to be done.  If I remember correctly, a few of the upgrades are added procedurally so you won't necessarily reach an end point.  This was the first game I worked on, I was just focused on making something a little bit original, and didn't get as far as endgame or post game content.

Thank you for checking it out and taking the time to give some feedback.

I'd come back to the game every now and then, sometimes starting a new one. It takes a little bit. It's certainly original, and has a lot to get through before even worrying about an endgame or postgame. Fair enough

I have another idle/incremental game on the site that you might also enjoy, although it's a little more hands on.  Anyway cheers.

Game dont seem to Work. Just the title screen and then nothing happens.

Try clicking it

is it normal to come back after a bit and finding out you got alot of 99,99,99 poeple availble to hire

Maybe?  Depending on how far along you are in the game?  (it's been about three years , I don't remember well enough)

Yes, it's normal

minor bug: after every reload (and every promotion) the tutorial tasks (move fielders, move pitchers, inspect player) come back.

There seems to be a bug with the leader stat. According to the tooltip, it is supposed to increase player effectiveness but it seems to do the opposite. I get way more homeruns per game with the manager with 1 in leader.

Also, late game it seems that the only thing that matters for income is hitting homeruns. A strikeout earns around 200k, a triple 4m and a homerun 21b. Admissions is around 1b/game. This makes it way, way too slow to earn enough to buy the later upgrades which cost 1qu.

Otherwise, it's a good game and I enjoyed playing it.

I've been playing for about 2 weeks straight now and can't seem to finish the  achievements. My season keeps restarting  even if I haven't traded anyone and I can't seem to beat last seasons record.  Wanted to do everything in the game, but this is making it impossible.  Had a lot of fun though.

The season resets every 162 games.   This should affect achievements however.  All achievements are taken from the lifetime stats of the players or the organization.  Some of the achievements may be too tedious;  I've toyed with the pace of the game a bit since first release without giving as much thought to readjusting achievements in response.

In any case,  I'm glad you had some fun.  Thanks for giving it some of your time.

re: balancing...I saw someone commenting liking the tradeoffs, but I think there's an imbalance in that it's possible to maximize pitchers without having to swap your coaches in and out, but it seems (unless I've missed something) that you can't have both weighted swing (for bat speed) and film study (for prediction) at the same time.

I mean it's fine if that's intentional, but in practice it means that late game I'm inclined to leave my maxed out outfielders sitting there and only cut/refresh my pitchers.

The balancing is certainly a bit out of whack in the late stages of the game.  I'll consider making a hitting coach with blanket coverage and appropriate downsides.  I have plans to add some potential sinks so that you won't necessarily  be maxing out every rating.

I will say that there is a trade-off with your strategy as well.   It may be a few less clicks to max out pitchers (and I won't blame you for wanting that), but pitchers do have less overall stat points available to them for now, so you will earn less for cutting a maxed out pitcher than a maxed out hitter in most cases.

I appreciate you making me aware of that problem.

Oh another thing: the clubhouse upgrade increases knowledge, but it doesn't seem to be a player or coach/manager/scout stat as  far as I can tell so...does it do anything?

Ahh yeah, I think I renamed the rating to "Teach" at some point and must not have updated the name in the upgrade.

something weird going on with my current game, can't make any more admission money because the current game has gone into its 90th inning and counting

nevermind it sorted itself out after closing & restarted after 20 minutes

Wow.  That's quite an impressive game.  There are definitely points early on or in the very late game where you can see bizarre statistical anomalies like this(though 90 innings is the wildest one i've heard).  I've resisted the urge to just hard code a fail case, because the occasional 20 inning game sounds like fun to me, but I definitely need to tighten up the constraints a bit.

The game doesn't appear to work in Firefox, clicking "Click to play" does nothing. Works fine on chrome though

Thanks for letting me know.  I've been working on weeding out these sorts of issues.

Every time I have to hire a new coach, I REALLY have to think about the options. You did a FANTASTIC job with designing the tradeoffs in these decisions.

(+1)

Thanks.  I tried to make the decisions feel meaningful  as much as I was able, rather than just a steady progression of upgrades.  Now to do a better job making player scouting feel as meaningful.   Thanks for giving the game a play.

It looks like the scout's goal of cut someone who has reached their max potential is bugged? Is this not just cutting someone with their star meter filled?

Yeah it seems like I've introduced some rounding error somewhere.   It seems like you are able to finish the goal after a couple of tries.  I'll Try to get that fixed at some point.  Thanks for pointing it out.

I feel like the pace is too slow, now, personally. And the leap from AAA to AAAA is massive, with no extra content or rewards to justify it. Also - a little text bug - the GM's objective "get enough favor for AA" isn't updated to AAA or AAAA when you advance. I'm done playing for now - thanks for the fun - I like the game a whole lot.

Lot going on wasn't really sure what I was doing a lot of the time, but cool seeing the field come together and the vast amount of content
